The problem
House Haven was a new brand with nothing built yet, no product pages, no review system, no FAQ, and no store identity to speak of. Everything had to be built from a blank Shopify install.
What I built
A full store, built from scratch
I built the homepage and the store's first two products, an electric space heater and a knitted throw blanket, with full product copywriting, benefit bullets, a "No More Waking Up Cold" section, and feature descriptions written to sell rather than just list specs.
Reviews and an FAQ, made real
I integrated client-supplied reviews on each product page, and built a custom, admin-editable FAQ section covering the questions customers actually ask, temperature range, whether a remote is included, shipping speed, the money-back guarantee.
A benefit ribbon that sells at a glance
I built a "Number One Emerging Space Heater" callout with an icon row covering heat output, remote control, outlet type, and adjustable fan, so the key selling points register before a customer scrolls any further.
Brand and policy setup
Montserrat headings, transparent product renders, and store policies for returns and shipping generated through Shopify's own settings, plus a custom, admin-manageable review bar so the client can manage social proof without touching code.
What actually changed
| What changed | Before | After |
|---|---|---|
| Store | Nonexistent | Full Shopify store |
| Products | No pages | Two complete product pages with copy |
| Social proof | No reviews | Integrated client reviews |
| Customer support | No FAQ | Comprehensive, admin-editable FAQ |
