Shipping Policy Template for Shopify and How to Add?

Policy pages are very important for all websites, to show the transparency, what a website collecting from users visit them, how you a website using their user’s data, and so on.

In the same way, the Shipping policy is important for all online stores. It does not matter what you are selling, where you are selling or how much you are selling. You need to have a shipping policy for your eCommerce website.

So, in this post, I have included a Shopify shipping policy template which you can modify by just changing the time and date of the processing time and shipping time.

However, there are several questions you might be wondering why a Shopify store or any eCommerce website needs a Shipping policy and any other kind of policies.

Well, here a couple of the questions I have tried to answer regarding shipping policies:

Why a Shopify store needs a shipping policy

To tell the buyers or viewers about your store’s shipping and processing time especially if you are running a dropshipping store. People don’t want to wait 30 days for a product to arrive, they will file a dispute against you and then you have no option left apart from returning the money.

Shipping policy is the solution to these kinds of problems. So, whenever someone tries to file a dispute against you, you can show the shipping policy to the investigators that you have already mentioned everything about shipping and processing on the website.

And always include the link of shipping policy on every page. The best way to do this is to include it in the footer. Just create a footer menu, then add the page, and that’s it.

At [brand name] our goal is to offer you the best shipping
options, no matter where you live. Every day, we deliver to
hundreds of customers across the world, ensuring that we
provide the very highest levels of responsiveness to you at all
times.

The time frame for order delivery is divided into two parts:

Processing time: Order verification, tailoring, quality check,
and packaging. All orders are sent to the manufacturer for
dispatch within 24 hours after the order is placed. The
manufacturer and China Post process the orders, which takes
an additional 2–4 days.

Shipping time: This refers to the time it takes for items to
be shipped from our warehouse to the destination. International
delivery usually takes about 15–30 business days. US orders are
shipped by e-packet, which is a US Postal Service product.
After processing and leaving the warehouse, items usually
take between 7 and 14 days to arrive at their destination but
can take longer from time to time.

This shipping policy template for Shopify is universal and you can use this with any store you want. As I mentioned just change the date and time.

Also, as most of the Shopify stores are based on dropshipping so, I took this specifically for a dropshipping store you can modify in accordance to your needs.
